ProntoAppLaunch is operated by Val Okafor (“ProntoAppLaunch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit the ProntoAppLaunch website, submit an application, communicate with us, become a customer, use a client portal, or receive our app-development services.

This Policy covers ProntoAppLaunch’s own website and service relationship. A custom app we build for a customer may require its own privacy policy identifying that customer as the business responsible for its users’ information. Unless a separate notice says otherwise, our customer—not ProntoAppLaunch—decides why and how information is collected through that customer’s app, and we process it to provide the service.

1. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Contact and application information

When you apply, contact us, or request information, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, business name, and role.
  • Information about your business, users, current tools, and desired app.
  • Project requirements, priorities, budgets, timelines, and fit information.
  • Any files, links, screenshots, recordings, or other materials you choose to provide.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, production customer records, passwords, private keys, payment-card details, health information, or other regulated data through the general application form.

Customer and project information

If you become a customer, we may collect and maintain:

  • Approved scopes, requests, decisions, feedback, and project history.
  • Account, domain, repository, hosting, developer-platform, and provider access that you authorize.
  • Source code, configurations, designs, test data, logs, and technical records needed to build and operate your app.
  • Communications through email, text, a client portal, video calls, or other agreed channels.
  • Records of approvals, deliveries, exports, handoffs, cancellations, and support.

Payment and transaction information

We and our payment processor collect transaction details such as plan, amount, currency, payment status, billing dates, and limited billing information. Payment-card numbers are collected and processed by the payment provider, not stored directly by ProntoAppLaunch.

The payment provider handles personal information under its own privacy policy and terms.

Website, device, and usage information

When you use the website, we or our providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser, device type, operating system, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, timestamps, session activity, and form interactions.
  • Cookie, pixel, advertising, and similar identifiers.
  • Diagnostic, security, fraud-prevention, and performance information.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from social networks, advertising platforms, analytics providers, payment providers, referrals, public business sources, and other services you connect or authorize. The information available depends on your settings and the provider’s policies.

Data in customer apps

Apps we build or host may process information about our customers’ own users, workers, vendors, or other people. Depending on the app, this may include contact details, account data, content, messages, records, uploaded files, and transaction information.

Our customer determines what its app collects and how it is used. We process that information to host, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app under the customer’s instructions and applicable agreement. Customers are responsible for giving their users appropriate notices, obtaining required consents, honoring privacy rights, and limiting collection to lawful purposes.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Review applications and decide whether a project is a fit.
  • Respond to questions and communicate about an application or project.
  • Prepare scopes, build apps, manage requests, and deliver the service.
  • Create and administer accounts, subscriptions, billing, exports, and handoffs.
  • Host, maintain, troubleshoot, test, secure, and improve apps and infrastructure.
  • Personalize and improve the website, application process, and customer experience.
  • Measure advertising, understand campaign performance, and reach people who may be interested in the service.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
  • Keep business, tax, accounting, contractual, and legal records.
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights and comply with law.
  • Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.

We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual and use it for lawful business purposes.

3. Our use of AI tools

ProntoAppLaunch uses AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis, coding, testing, review, documentation, support, and workflow automation. Project communications, specifications, source code, technical artifacts, and materials you send us may be processed by AI providers as part of delivering the service.

We do not intentionally submit an app’s production customer records, payment details, contracts, private uploads, or other sensitive end-user data to a general-purpose AI model unless:

  • The customer requested an AI feature that requires the processing;
  • We disclosed the provider or intended processing and the customer approved it;
  • The processing occurs through an appropriately configured account or service; or
  • The processing is otherwise authorized in a separate written agreement.

If your app includes an AI feature, the provider, data flow, retention settings, user notice, and applicable usage charges should be addressed as part of that feature’s scope and your own privacy notice.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand site use, measure advertising, prevent abuse, and improve performance.

We use the Meta Pixel and may use similar advertising or analytics tools. These technologies may allow Meta and other providers to receive identifiers and internet or network activity, such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referring page, interactions, and whether an application was started or completed. Providers may use that information to measure ads, create audiences, personalize advertising, and provide their services under their own policies.

You can control cookies through available site controls and your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect site functionality. You can also adjust advertising preferences through the applicable advertising platform.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosure through advertising cookies or pixels may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out through any cookie settings or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link we provide, by sending a request to val@okason.com, or by using a legally recognized browser-based opt-out signal.

Where required by law, we treat a supported Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser or device sending the signal. Other “Do Not Track” signals may not have a uniform legal or technical standard; we respond to them when required by applicable law.

5. Email and text communications

We may email you about an application, project, billing, security, service updates, or a request you submitted. These are transactional or service communications, not necessarily marketing messages.

If you provide a mobile number and consent to text communication, we may send texts about your application or active project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts and HELP for help. We will not send automated marketing texts without any additional consent required by law.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. You will still receive necessary transactional, legal, security, and service communications while you have an active relationship with us.

6. How we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

Service providers

We use providers for hosting, databases, file storage, source-code repositories, communications, email delivery, text delivery, forms, customer support, analytics, advertising measurement, payment processing, security, development, AI assistance, and other business operations. They receive information needed to perform services for us and are subject to their own agreements and legal duties.

Advertising and analytics partners

We may disclose identifiers and website activity to advertising and analytics partners, including through pixels, cookies, and similar technologies, to measure campaigns, understand website use, and deliver or personalize advertising. See Cookies, analytics, and advertising above for available choices.

Professional advisers

We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, consultants, and other professional advisers when reasonably necessary.

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; protect people, property, systems, or rights; investigate fraud or misuse; enforce agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business transfers

We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the service. Any successor will receive information subject to this Policy or provide notice of materially different practices.

We may disclose information when you direct us to connect a provider, invite a collaborator, transfer an app, complete a handoff, publish a case study, or otherwise authorize the disclosure.

We do not publish a customer’s identity, app, or project as a case study without permission.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Review and respond to applications.
  • Provide the service and maintain project history.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, export, and hand off customer apps.
  • Maintain business, tax, accounting, and transaction records.
  • Resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, our relationship, contractual requirements, legal duties, security needs, and the availability of deletion tools in provider systems.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or aggregate it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, fraud-prevention systems, or records we must keep. If a customer cancels, the app wind-down and export process is governed by the Terms of Service.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service. These may include access controls, encryption in transit, restricted credentials, backups, logging, provider security controls, and development practices intended to reduce risk.

No internet transmission, storage system, provider, or security measure is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials, limiting administrative access, and promptly telling us about suspected unauthorized activity.

If we confirm a security incident affecting personal information, we will investigate, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, and provide notices required by applicable law.

9. Where information is processed

ProntoAppLaunch is operated in the United States. We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.

Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. When legally required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Know or access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Receive information about the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Receive a portable copy of certain information.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information.
  • Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent.
  • Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.
  • Receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

To make a request, email val@okason.com with the subject line Privacy Request and describe the right you want to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and authority. We will use verification information only to process the request. An authorized agent may submit a request when permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity.

Some information may be exempt from a request—for example, information we must keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or dispute purposes. If we deny a request, we will explain why when required and describe any available appeal process.

If your request concerns information in an app built for one of our customers, contact that customer first. We will assist the customer as required by our agreement and applicable law.

11. California privacy notice

This section supplements the rest of the Policy for California residents. Whether particular California privacy-law requirements apply depends on legal thresholds and circumstances. We provide the following description for transparency and will honor applicable rights.

We use and disclose sensitive personal information only for permitted business purposes, to provide requested services, maintain security, and as otherwise authorized by law. We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics about you for unrelated purposes.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16.

12. Children

The ProntoAppLaunch website and application process are intended for adults and business customers. You must be at least 18 to purchase the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website.

If you believe a child submitted personal information to us, contact val@okason.com. Apps intended for children or likely to collect children’s information require a separate written scope, age-appropriate design, customer-provided legal guidance, and any legally required parental consent.

13. Third-party sites and services

Our website and apps may link to or integrate with third-party sites, platforms, and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy. Review their terms before providing information or enabling an integration.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the service, providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices. The updated date will appear at the top.

If a change materially affects how we use personal information already collected, we will provide notice when required and obtain consent when applicable. Your continued use of the service after an update is subject to the revised Policy, but it does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
